Just a quick update regarding the state of play currently. If you are seeing this that means you have already found our new home (607vfw.onl)[!https://607vfw.onl].

We have just secured a brand new VPS with OVH Cloud and throughout the past couple of nights I’ve been porting this static Jekyll site over to Laravel ready for our server update in a couple of weeks. I’ve been working tirelessly around the clock to get things functional as you see it on here; both front and back end.

I know that a lot of you may not understand coding or how time consuming it can be but those who do know exactly what I’m talking about. In a nutshell currently we have implemented a simple user authentication backend, admin dashboard, blog functionality implemented.

Once I have finalised the role based authentication and user profiles i’ll then be tackling the Op Management System so that people can actually sign up, register their interest and have a pretty view within their own user dashboard.

In the coming months things will be changing for the better with regards to the Wing & Squadrons and that’s another thing which we will be able to manage through the newly developed website. Assigning roles, discord integration, website donations powered by Stripe and a host of other things.

Anyway I’m very tired right now so I apologise for the slightly nonsensical posting but it is what it is I suppose.
